Building on the conference experience

Here I am, almost eight weeks after attending my first IFVP conference. The conference was my introduction of the world of graphic recording/facilitation, and I've done a lot of thinking (and practicing).

The bes thing I've done is pull together a group to practice grphic recording. We started this week with a TED Talk (it's amazing what Johnny Lee can do with a Wii). I'm seeing an increased confidence - not ready for prime time yet, but a see a path forward.

The conference was a gift. No where else could I meet such talented recorders/facilitators in such a short length of time with as much support as these professionals shared. And more gratifying is the support they continue to share - two months after the conference.

I look forward to continuing my exploration of the graphic recording arena. My hope is to incorporate it into my client work...
